On 16 September 2018 the first Annual LHON Canada Symposium was held in Ottawa, Ontario with great success!
Almost 120 “Affected or Connected” people attended with great enthusiasm. A series of informative and entertaining sessions were presented in this exciting one-day event.

On Saturday, we held a Blind Run along the Ottawa Canal and an exciting Blind Hockey Game.
The evening was then topped off with a fantastic Meet and Greet Social Event at the Lord Elgin Hotel where everyone got to meet each other and make connections and share their experiences.
The even was attended people from all across Canada and a few Americans braved the trip to share in the friendship and support.
